NAME

xd — hex dump

SYNOPSIS

xd [-1 | -2 | -4] [-c | -C] file

DESCRIPTION

The xd command prints a hex dump of file to the standard output.

Options

-1, -2, -4 arrange bytes in groups of one, two or four bytes

-c, -C format output for a small screen (-c for cramped) or non-cramped (-C). Default is non-cramped.
