rkbd(shell)

NAME

rkbd — remote keyboard daemon

SYNOPSIS

rkbd [port]

DESCRIPTION

The rkbd command starts up a daemon on port (1111 by default) that listens for a remote keyboard client.

The client program, rkb , should be run from a remote client with network access. You can get the JAR file rkb.jar from the download page of the SavaJe website: www.savaJe.com . Execute the rkb client after starting rkbd on the iPAQ:

java -jar rkb.jar -h <iPAQ-ip-address>

Once you are connected, you should get an rkb% prompt on both the iPAQ and the remote client. Type lsh commands on the remote client: the command and the results should show up on the iPAQ.
