For applications that create display windows larger than the physical screen, the virtual screen feature can be useful. By default, such applications start up in maximized mode. To use the original window size, follow these steps:
You can navigate around the virtual screen by holding down the
center of the SELECT
button (cursor pad) and rocking the
DPAD
in the direction you want to move.
Alternatively, you can hold down the SELECT
button and
drag on the screen.
The soft keyboard enables you to enter text by using the touch screen. The keyboard is a standard QWERTY keyboard. The following list describes some of the non-obvious features:
SavaJe OS
supports the Targus Stowaway keyboard.
To make an iPAQ running
SavaJe OS
see the Stowaway keyboard, connect the
keyboard to the serial port of the iPAQ, then suspend/resume by
pressing the POWER
button at upper right (once to suspend, then
once again to resume).
The keyboard should be detected and be usable for input.
Touching the screen briefly with a stylus (or your fingernail) is equivalent to a click of the left mouse button. Touching the screen and holding is equivalent to a click of the right mouse button.
