flash_util — onboard flash utility
reboot while holding DPAD
The SavaJe flash utility allows you to copy files from a compact flash card (CF) to the onboard flash, copy from onboard flash to CF, erase a flash partition, clear the RAMFS (ram filesystem), and reboot.
To use the SavaJe flash utility, reboot your iPAQ by pushing the stylus into the hole on the bottom right. During the reboot, press and hold the large center button (DPAD) on the iPAQ. When the reboot is complete, the SavaJe flash utility should appear.
To navigate the menu, press the lower edge of the DPAD to move down, or press the upper edge of the DPAD to move up. To select a menu item, press the right edge of the DPAD.
For all operations except for reboot, you will be explicitly asked if you want to proceed.
